Responsibilities: - Identifying the target market and prospective companies and investigating their business needs in order to engage them to take up high value sponsorship packages - Conduct market and lead research within an assigned market to affirm commercial viability of projects - Engaging CEOs, Vice Presidents and all other senior level decision-makers over the phone, written correspondence or face-to-face, to understand their business objectives and match them with the benefits of attending your conference - Meet Sponsorship sales targets for individual events - Develop a continuous pipeline of leads to generate new business opportunities -Generate maximum revenue on any given event and exceed monthly and yearly sponsorship sales revenue targets - Convince the prospect of the benefits of attending IMAPAC events by using SPIN and Solution selling - Attend all training sessions, team and department meetings, using the information obtained to work towards constantly improved performance and knowledge of conference topics and selling points - Make at least 50 sales telephone calls per day on average, and a minimum of 3 full sponsorship sales proposals to potential sponsors - Complete accurately and send the daily report sheet to your line manager, or when required - Complete record of calls and sales made for each client or prospect; order forms completed accurately and legibly - Provide impeccable customer service before and after the event - Invoice sponsors and exhibitors once agreements have been reached/signed - Maintain and produce sales reports for periodic meetings - Travel for on-site management and event delivery - Being an integral part of the project team creating the most impactful business festival of the year - Providing impeccable customer service before and after the event - Being a passionate advocate for the event and brand - Attending events to network with clients and generate new business opportunities Requirements: - Good Degree holder in Business/Marketing & Sales Management/Biomedical Sciences/Pharmaceutical Science/Communications/Social sciences/Psychology - Relevant sales experience will be an added advantage (especially Business to Business sales) - Able to travel overseas - Excellent communication, persuasion and negotiation skills - Positive attitude, Cheerful and Confident personality - Resilient and determined in the face of rejection - Hard working, articulate and highly motivated team player - Ability to take criticism and be flexible to changing their personal selling styles when required Please submit your detailed resume and cover letter to hr@imapac.com .
