Our European graduate program provides you with an exciting opportunity to add significant value to our business through participation in one of our core programs: Commercial, technical, finance, supply chain, information technology and human resources. In this two-year development program, open to European graduates, each of our disciplines offer unique job learning experiences plus personal development through mentorship and soft skill training.
International in its scope, you will experience:

Program options
Commercial graduate
* As a commercial graduate you begin in a function in sales or commodity trading.
* In sales, you provide added value and solutions for our clients. For example, you could sell flour to animal feed mixers or sunflower oil to fast moving consumer good produces.
* As a commodity trader you buy and sell raw food-materials worldwide. You make a daily analysis of the various market and price developments, you assess the risk elements and take action accordingly.
Technical graduate
* As a technical graduate you will apply your technical expertise and leadership skills in a hands-on environment. Early on, you will be responsible for a significant part of the production process and for the people that make it happen.
* You will be expected to contribute to productivity, quality and process improvement.
* Your success is determined by your ability to develop leadership skills.
Finance graduate
* As a finance graduate you will be a member of the accounting team that works closely with the trading, sales, forwarding, logistics and plant teams. You will be heavily involved in the daily business of Cargill.
* You will handle general accounting and reporting tasks such as assisting in preparing the profit and loss close. You may have responsibility for accounts payable, accounts receivable and/or balance sheet reconciliation. You may participate in special projects related to corporate initiatives and will perform various other tasks as assigned by your manager.
* You will acquire significant knowledge on country local/worldwide finance and accounting activities that support our businesses.
Supply chain graduate
* As a supply chain graduate you will become a professional in the logistical part of a production site. You begin as an assistant planner and are in direct contact with clients, suppliers and employees from production and management.
* You are responsible for achieving an optimal relationship between production, loading activities and distribution of orders.
Information technology graduate
* As an information technology (IT) graduate you will acquire knowledge on local, European and global IT activities that support our businesses in a variety of areas. This support includes managing our infrastructure, business applications, project management, business relationship management and much more.
* You will work within one of our key IT hubs and will be involved in special projects, which include new corporate initiatives. The four major Western European IT hub locations are Martorell near Barcelona in Spain, Mechelen near Brussels in Belgium, Krefeld near Düsseldorf in Germany, and Manchester in the UK. There may also be graduate opportunities in Eastern Europe.
Human resources graduate
* As a human resources (HR) graduate you will be a member of the European HR job family.
* You will acquire significant knowledge on country, European and global HR processes that support our businesses.
* In this position you may handle a diverse range of HR processes and complete special projects, which may include new corporate HR initiatives.
