| Description: |
RWE is among Europe’s five largest utilities. We are active in the generation and transmission as well as the sale and trading of electricity and gas. Our 69,000 employees supply 20 million customers with electricity and 10 million clients with gas. In fiscal 2007, we recorded € 43 billion in revenue. Europe is our market: RWE is the biggest power producer in Germany and No. 2 in the UK. We continue to expand our position in Central and South-Eastern Europe. Our aim is to create sustainable value for our investors, customers and employees.
The International Graduate Programme (IGP) is an 18-months programme for graduates of any subject area. The programme main characteristic is the participants’ individual freedom to choose the different programme units they are interested in and the level of support the participants receive from their personal coach, their mentors and the programme tutors.
The graduates select 5-6 assignments in different functional areas, countries and companies across the RWE Group. It is the graduates’ responsibility to identify and join challenging and meaningful projects. They will be supported by a personal mentor from RWE’s top management. Achievements will be measured against target agreements.
The programme is rounded up by coachings, feedback sessions and training units. All these measures will be tailored to the participants’ needs.
