My client is a Bermuda based Accounting Solutions, Insurance Management, Business Consulting and Run-off Acquisition company. The paradise of the Bermuda Islands, 650 miles off the Carolina coast, is a leading and well respected financial centre for international business. It is the world’s leading captive insurance domicile.
Not only are there far more captives in Bermuda than in any other jurisdiction, the Island leads the way in captive expertise and management.
Between bankers, captive management, legal and accounting firms, there are more professionals helping corporations with their captive requirements than there are captives in most competing domiciles.
Captive buyers like the fact, too, that unlike others, Bermuda is also an insurance and reinsurance domicile. It is home to more than 1,600 registered (re)insurers. It’s not just the leader in captives, but a key and strategic provider of insurance products to large, global industrial and financial corporations. Job Duties
• Provide accounting and financial consulting services to Bermuda based organisations
• Perform ad hoc and special projects
• Work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Quickly adapt to dynamic work environments
Requirements
• Certified Chartered Accountant
• No minimum experience required
• Insurance/Reinsurance experience highly advantageous
• Financial services experience advantageous
• Big Four firm experience highly advantageous
Remuneration
Salary will be dependent upon experience, plus which industry you have experience in. Starting salary for a candidate who has just finished their CA certification, you could expect a salary starting around USD $70,000 per year (plus bonus commission).
You will also be eligible to receive commission payments equivalent to 7.5% of all net billings that you are responsible for.
PLUS you will receive paid overtime for all overtime hours worked.
Relocation Expenses
My client will pay for your air ticket to Bermuda, your accommodation for one month, and the cost of hiring a motor scooter for two weeks (scooter is the main mode of transport on the island).
Employee Loan
If you’re worried about settling in costs, my client will offer (no obligation) interest free loan of up to BD$3,000 which will be repayable by the employee through a deduction from their monthly salary.
Medical Coverage
My client will provide a health insurance policy with a local health insurance provider. In keeping with standard payment practices of local companies in Bermuda, the employer will pay for 50% of the cost of this benefit.

Requirements
• Certified Chartered Accountant
• No minimum experience required
• Insurance/Reinsurance experience highly advantageous
• Financial services experience advantageous
• Big Four firm experience highly advantageous
Remuneration
Salary will be dependent upon experience, plus which industry you have experience in. Starting salary for a candidate who has just finished their CA certification, you could expect a salary starting around USD $70,000 per year (plus bonus commission).
You will also be eligible to receive commission payments equivalent to 7.5% of all net billings that you are responsible for.
PLUS you will receive paid overtime for all overtime hours worked.
Relocation Expenses
My client will pay for your air ticket to Bermuda, your accommodation for one month, and the cost of hiring a motor scooter for two weeks (scooter is the main mode of transport on the island).
Employee Loan
If you’re worried about settling in costs, my client will offer (no obligation) interest free loan of up to BD$3,000 which will be repayable by the employee through a deduction from their monthly salary.
Medical Coverage
My client will provide a health insurance policy with a local health insurance provider. In keeping with standard payment practices of local companies in Bermuda, the employer will pay for 50% of the cost of this benefit.
