Algorithm A* is looking for experienced teachers for 2018-2019 academic year to teach on A-level and GCSE programmes. We are looking for teachers in the following subjects: Biology Chemistry History Economics Geography Literature Mathematics Physics What’s the job You will be required to teach on A-level and GCSE programmes face to face and online. Your contract will be for September 2018 – May 2019 with a possibility to extend for another year. You will be expected to teach about 20 hours per week. You will also be expected to contribute to materials design and adaptation particularly for online programmes, tutoring on online programmes, school marketing activities and other relevant school life activities. Requirements - Qualification a required subject taught through the medium of English (BA is a minimum requirement, MA preferable, PhD will be an advantage) - Experience of teaching A-level and GCSE qualifications (minimum 3 years) - Native speaker of English (or confirmed C2 level) - Confident computer user - Experience of tutoring online will be an advantage - Teaching qualification will be an advantage - International experience will be an advantage Remuneration: Algorithm A* will provide: - Appropriate visa - Flights to/from Moscow - Accommodation - Monthly salary – negotiable with successful candidates - Induction programme - Professional and logistical support throughout the year Please email your expressions of interest and a CV to recruitment@algorithmastar.com stating how you fit the requirements, why you are interested in this position, and what is your expected salary.
