Opportunity for German speakers to join a new international IT project!
Infosys Technologies Ltd. is one of the largest IT companies in the world. Our services include business and technologies consulting, IT services and business process outsourcing. Currently we are recruiting for a team of software analysts, who will provide Level 2 software application support for European branches of our corporate client and cooperate with Level 3 offshore support. This position will require willingness to travel for on-site training to the country according to language specification for a period of 3 – 6 months.
Qualifications
Our requirements:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Some work experience in Software Support is required
- English on an advanced level
- Strong communication skills in German
- Technical education (Computer science, Electro engineering) or previous experience in the relevant field
- Knowledge / previous exposure of JAVA or .NET technologies (main technologies for all applications)
- Basic understanding of database concepts (such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL) is beneficial
- Ability to work in international team and good communication skills
- Willingness to travel for training to the country according to language specification for 3 – 6 months
Job Description
Job responsibilities:
- Provide trouble shooting for legacy systems (no standard software)
- Clarify unclear descriptions in tickets with end user and completes tickets
- Assist offshore programmers in understanding source code if parts of the same are in local language
- Facilitates communication between offshore programmers and end users
- Provides translation of documentation in local language to English for internal purpose only
- Management of content of technical knowledge databases and “How to” queries
- Reporting on local country data on Incidents, Problems, Service requests etc.
