Job Description

Position: Sales Co-ordinator

Reporting to: Scheduling Manager

Location: 10 Fleet Place, London EC4M

Start date: As soon as possible

The role of this position is to maintain daily interaction and co-ordination with Production, Creative, Ad Sales, Scheduling and Clients to ensure flawless commercial execution for clients.


• Work with Production Manager and Compliance to ensure all legal approvals have been made.
• Coordinate with Creative and Editorial departments to ensure material is delivered on time for approval and on air.
• Manage a process to ensure flawless transition between Production and Scheduling Departments
• Liaison with Agencies to ensure commercial copies received in good time.
• Set up and provide commercial ‘house numbers’ for all material on air.
• Advising Advertising Sales team on availability for orders not yet confirmed.
• Work on scheduling system to check for copy, set up copy and applying rotations.
• Liaison with US & Asia regarding material delivery, chasing feeds.
• Arrange adequate information for Production, Ad sales and Scheduling regarding all commercial deals and copy delivery.
• Liaison with News, Programming, and Transmission departments, daily.
• Adjusting schedule to last minute changes.
• This job description is not exhaustive and the post holder will be required to carry out any other tasks as requested and within capabilities.


This internship is unpaid. CNBC pays the Oystercard (100 £ each month) but needs the intern to be supprted by Erasmus or an equivalent program.
