Job Description
Novo Nordisk Regulatory Affairs makes medicine available to patients all over the world by ensuring fast regulatory approval in all our markets. Regulatory Affairs is a fast-changing field, and the 300 dedicated employees in our unit need both keen negotiating skills and scientific insight to serve as Novo Nordisk’s advocates around the world. And we really do mean fast-changing. 50 years ago we submitted seven pages to get three products approved. In 2008 we submitted almost a million pages to get Victoza® approved in the USA. In Sep 2011 we submitted 14 million pages (!) to get Degludec approved in the USA. And the authority demands will continue to increase. In Regulatory Affairs we navigate this growing complexity from early development stages till the final product reaches the patients. We make sure that our studies and strategies always point towards an eventual regulatory approval. It’s a fast-paced environment here no two days are alike. Tight deadlines, cross-departmental collaboration, project management and the challenges of international communication will be part of your busy workday. You will be expected to make an impact and to ask questions and challenge the status quo if that’s what it takes. But you will also find that Novo Nordisk offers a world of support, with firstrate professional training, relevant support groups and talented, friendly colleagues who are always ready to lend a hand.
