Business Development Internship Opportunity in GE Commercial Finance


Type: Internship with 4days a week, at least 6 months
Function: Business Development
Location: Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, Pudong, Shanghai

Essential Functions (Responsibilities)

- Be able to use different tools, databases to conduct market research including research on target companies, industries, competitors, etc.
- Use the research results to identify and prioritize potential vertical segments’ customer needs and wants based on criteria agreed by marketing, sales and risk management team.
- Work with different teams to enhance quality of market research using
front-end feedback, e.g. client details & contact strategies, prospect prioritization
- Support on market communication including advertising and market promo
tion execution

Qualifications / Requirements

- Second-year Postgraduate students from top university with related major, expecting to graduate in 2010
- Available to work 4 days per week for more than 6 months
- Ability to work under pressure, work overtime, deal with urgent cases

- Exceptional analytical capability and clearing thinking
- Master user of PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
- Outstanding language skills both in Chinese and English, oral and written
- Quick learning capability and analytical mindset
- Experience in Financial services / consulting / market research preferred
