BOAO offers an exciting and affordable opportunity for native English speakers or near native speakers to live, work, and travel in this fascinating country. You will teach an average of 18~20 hours per week, which leaves you enough time to see the sites and explore the rich cultural backdrop of China’s expansive history. The students range from private academics, public elementary and secondary schools. Contract extension would be highly appreciated according to your performance and your wishes. China includes English in their school's curriculum at a young age, so most students are proficient with English reading and writing, but are shy and embarrassed to practice their conversational skills. As an English language skills teacher, you will engage with and make your students like speaking English and feel more comfortable by interacting with them in your native tongue.

Having a certificate of English teaching is better
• Bachelor's degree or above in any discipline; Education majors and classroom experience preferred, but not required (note: Juniors and Seniors will be considered if highly qualified for our program)
• L-visa holder with more than 3 months period of validity. Provide invitation letter (apply for F-visa) to the one who confirmed arrival in China
• Work period: 4 months (1 term).Contract extension to 1 year is possible according to previous performance
• Enjoy leading groups and teaching children and/or adults
• Good lesson planning and organization skills
• Attendance at staff meetings
• Open to foreign cultures and living abroad
• High level of responsibility
• Dedication to the full term of commitment
•Health tests and immunizations to obtain the proper work permit-Class Z. (e.g.: EKG, HIV test, tetanus, hepatitis, typhoid, etc)
• A criminal background check may be required by some schools and positions
Job Description
Mainly responsible for oral English teaching in a relaxing way with only 18-20 teaching classes tasks.
Adapt yourself to the cultural diffrences and enthusiastic at teaching.
Help the students build up a good accent
Have patience in helping students corroct the wrong pronounciation.
