The Foundation for Youth Social Entrepreneurship (FYSE) is a regional organization focusing on building an entrepreneurial environment for young people in Asia.
Our programs the Paragon fellowship and the annual Paragon conference provide unique platforms to identify, nurture and connect the most inspiring young social Changeleaders and entrepreneurs in Asia to drive real change in their communities.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
Interns with FYSE will be noticeably outstanding and will have demonstrated their abilities already. We would expect them to be exceptional people with great creativity and entrepreneurial skills, strong drive, initiative and an ability to work without close supervision.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
1. Fanatical passionate about PR/ communication and social media
2. Highly creative and innovative
3. "Can- do" attitude, entrepreneurial self-starter
4. Very knowledgeable of and dedicated to blogging and use of Facebook, Twitter, Squidoo and Co.
5. Demonstrated ability to map out a marketing strategy and then drive that strategy
6. Has excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
7. Ability to work individually with little supervision as well as in a team environment
8. Previous experience in PR or/and marketing

We are looking for a professional and creative genius to rock our communication strategy for youth entrepreneurship in Asia Pacific! We want to create buzzzzzzzzzz .. and lot of buzzzzzzzzzz for the regional Paragon fellowship and the Paragon:2010 conference.
The Foundation for Youth Social Entrepreneurship's (FYSE) Paragon fellowship is the only regional fellowship to identify, support and connect the most promising youth entrepreneurs in Asia Pacific. In September 2010, the Foundation for Youth Social Entrepreneurship (FYSE) will hold the Paragon:2010 conference, the first regional conference in Asia Pacific for young social Entrepreneurs. This high-profile event will bring together the most dynamic young entrepreneurs and social leaders from Asia, to not only share ideas, but to connect and to initiate collaborations between sectors and generations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your work will be challenging, varied and you will develop projects from the initial brief, concept formation, through design, development to the final delivery.
We need your golden hands and creative mind to support our team communication and marketing.
1. Media & PR
- press release management
- media partner recruitment and management
- Ensuring Media presence at events
2. Social Media campaigning
- Managing our online communities
- Initiating and moderating online discussions
- Social media optimization (SMO)
- Finding innovative way for communication of and during the Paragon:2010 conference
LOCATION
Interns will be initially based in Beijing, and move to India (conference location) in late summer 2010.
