Qualifications

Qualifications: The incumbent must be a go-getter with high energy and the following skills:
Language skills:
a) Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
b) Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
c) Write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or company officials
Mathematical skills:
a) Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Reasoning skills:
a) Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
b) Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
2. Experience in full lifecycle recruiting, employee relations, safety, training, performance management (performance appraisal)

Job Description

Description: The incumbent will develop policy, direct and coordinate human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, employee relations, safety, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and implement all phases in human resources, including but not limited to: employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, safety, worker's compensation and training
• Coordinate with company officials and legal counsel in the discipline or termination of employees
• Prepare budget of human resources operations
• Contract with outside suppliers to provide temporary employee services
• Analyze wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan
• Coordinate the administration of employee safety, health and security programs
• Write directives advising department managers of company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits
• Consult legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law
• Maintain a human resources system that meets top management information needs
• Oversee the analysis, maintenance and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization
• Write and deliver presentations to upper management regarding human resources policies and practices, as required
• Coordinate delivery of supervisory/management training
• Supervisory Resposibilities:
 Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
 Interview, hire and train employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems
