Dezan Shira & Associates was originally incorporated in Hong Kong in 1992, and has subsequently grown over the past two decades to support sizable operations in mainland China, India, Vietnam, with a strong affiliate partnership in Russia and Central Asia. The firm provides services exclusively to foreign direct investors in each of the markets we operate in, allowing us to concentrate and specialize in this important field. Qualifications
1. Native English or German speaker preferred
2. Mandarin an advantage but not vital
3. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline in a multi-culture and multinational environment
4. Ability to work together with highly professional local colleagues
5. Previous China work experience preferred
6.Tax or accounting qualifications preferred
Job Description
Job Objective:
Responsible to coordinate teams of lawyers and tax and accounting professional; meet clients and follow up on FDI projects; boost revenue, support the development of strategies and internal management procedures of the company.
Job description:
1. Understand and coordinate business legal registrations, renewal procedures and tax compliance for our clients portfolio;
2. Research on legal and tax issues/investment regulations, scenarios and alternatives for our existing and potential international clients;
3. Meet independently and/or with a company team with existing and potential clients and advise over legal and tax issues affecting their investment plans for China;
4. Follow up on clients establishment and conversion into tax/accounting retainers with colleagues from the tax/accounting department;
5. Provide advice on legal issues of retainer clients and help them solve the problems;
6. Writing articles or making presentations on legal/investment and other related matters;
7. Developing procedures that boost company efficiency
8. Follow up with online inquiries and manage internal CRM system
