Trainee Position: EBAN is looking for motivated and enthusiastic trainees to work on the following initiatives: • Cooperate in Research and Statistics papers • Development of learning materials • Organize training sessions The trainee will be assisting EBAN in the research initiatives our organization is involved in. Gathering and analysing data on business angel investments will be one of the main tasks the trainee will be responsible for. Also, the trainee will assist the director of the EBAN Institute primarily in developing and updating learning materials to be used in the various training sessions EBAN organizes for its community. The trainee will have a number of opportunities to play an active operational role within the organisation in her/his field of activity. The trainee works under the supervision of and reports to the Assistant Director with the assistance of other EBAN staff, members or experts. Trainee profile: Bachelor or Master degree student in Economic subjects or in Statistics Available for 3-6 months full-time in our offices in Brussels, interested in the sectors: 1. Entrepreneurship 2. European affairs 3. Statistics, research and data 4. Startup and SME’s ecosystem ▪ Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ▪ Excellent verbal and written command of English, knowledge of another European language is an asset (Spanish, French, German or Italian) ▪ Strong organizational skills, capable to take initiative and work independently, responsible and able to report on work carried out. ▪ Analytical and creative thinking EBAN offers ▪ Full time involvement in one of the fastest growing financial markets at international level worldwide ▪ Interesting and varied work ▪ Possibility to meet and network with potential high profile employers ▪ Attendance and support to preparation of international events Practical elements: Traineeship must be conducted within the framework of a University / Agency program (tripartite agreement) and will preferably start in September 2015.
